Bộ phim về Anh hùng lực lượng vũ trang Trần Văn Lai – một chiến sĩ biệt động can trường, mưu trí hoạt động trong lòng địch dưới danh nghĩa “nhà thầu khoán Dinh Độc Lập Năm U.SOM”.
The film portrays Tran Van Lai, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces – a brave and resourceful commando who operated deep within enemy lines under the guise of “Nam U.SOM, contractor of the Independence Palace.”

Đạo diễn, NSƯT Trịnh Quang Tùng, tốt nghiệp chuyên ngành Quay phim và Đạo diễn Điện ảnh – Truyền hình Trường Đại học Sân khấu – Điện ảnh Hà Nội.
