TÓM TẮT/SYNOPSIS:
Từ hai phía chiến tuyến, bộ phim đem đến góc nhìn chân thực, xúc động và đầy nhân văn về nỗi đau và hành trình hòa giải dân tộc. Phim tái hiện những câu chuyện đời thường nhưng ám ảnh của các cựu binh và thân nhân liệt sĩ – những người vẫn mang trong mình sự hoài nghi, mất mát và day dứt sau hơn nửa thế kỷ chiến tranh. Không chỉ gợi lại ký ức, phim còn chạm đến những vết thương âm ỉ trong gia đình và khát vọng hàn gắn quá khứ.
From both sides of the frontline, the film presents a truthful, emotional, and deeply human perspective on the pain of war and the journey toward national reconciliation. The film portrays the hauntingly ordinary yet powerful stories of veterans and families of fallen soldiers, who still carry doubts, losses, and lingering regrets more than half a century after the war. Beyond evoking memories, the film touches the unhealed wounds within families and conveys a yearning to heal the past, moving toward understanding, forgiveness, and peace.
ĐẠO DIỄN/DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:
Đạo diễn Nguyễn Đức Đệ đang công tác tại phòng Giải trí và Phim tài liệu Trung tâm Truyền hình Việt Nam tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Anh tham gia đạo diễn nhiều phim tài liệu như: Con chữ du mục, Sợi chỉ màu bay đi, Đèn dầu không tắt, Những đứa con làng Chăm, Bình yên con nhé, Người ơi đừng khóc cuối đường… và giành nhiều giải thưởng tại các kỳ Liên hoan truyền hình toàn quốc, Liên hoan Phim Việt Nam, giải thưởng của Hội Điện ảnh Việt Nam….
Director Nguyen Duc De is currently working at the Entertainment and Documentary division of the Viet Nam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City. He has directed numerous documentary films such as Nomadic Letters, Flying Thread, The Lamp Never Goes Out, Children of Cham Village, Stay Peaceful, My Child, Don’t Cry at the End of the Road… and has received many awards at the National Television Festivals, Viet Nam Film Festivals, and from the Viet Nam Cinema Association.
